Urolift Prostate Surgery

Urolift is a prostatic urethral lift technique using specialised implants deployed within the prostate in order to open the urethra to make a wider channel. It is far less likely to cause retrograde ejaculation and erectile dysfunction than conventional TURP surgery to treat enlarged prostates, a condition called benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH).

Because there is no cutting or burning of the prostate, recovery is much faster and side effects are minimal.

Dr Beattie is experienced in the use of the Urolift system and is happy to discuss if it is the right procedure for you.
