For the treatment of larger kidney stones, we use a state-of-the-art Olympus ShockPulse lithotripsy system and smaller mini-PCNL sheath, allowing for a less painful procedure, faster recovery and excellent stone clearance. Dr Beattie is currently the only urologist in the Newcastle and Hunter region providing this type of kidney stone surgery.
